What Data We Hold & Why
Lawful, Purposeful Data Processing Built for Education
TrainingSchoolz processes staff and organisational data solely to deliver our platform services, including:
- Staff records imported via MIS integration to automate training distribution and progress tracking.
- Training completion data used to generate compliance reports, read-receipts, and audit-ready exports.
- Account and usage data to provision and manage school and MAT administrator accounts securely.
All data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and relevant education sector guidance including KCSIE and DfE requirements.
Your Responsibilities & Ours
A Clear Division of Data Responsibilities
Under this agreement, your school or MAT acts as the Data Controller — you determine the purpose and means of processing staff data on TrainingSchoolz. We act as your Data Processor, handling data only on your documented instructions.
Our key commitments to you include:
- Processing data strictly in line with your instructions and this agreement.
- Maintaining appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect all personal data.
- Never selling or sharing your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
- Notifying you promptly in the event of a data breach affecting your organisation's records.
- Deleting or returning all personal data upon termination of your subscription.
As Data Controller, your responsibilities include ensuring staff are informed that their training data is managed via TrainingSchoolz, and that your MIS data exports comply with your own data protection policies.
